Currently, the Lansing Clippers have the following Neighborhood Groups:

NG – Sew Styling

Purpose – To pursue the love of sewing.  Every sewist is welcome, from beginner to experienced. We currently are primarily a discussion group, with interest in learning sewing tips and techniques. Members try to help each other with sewing problems. At this time there is optional sewing afterwards: bring your machine or call Country Stitches to reserve one of theirs. Ironing board and iron available. See the calendar link for date, time and topic.

1-4PM

Country Stitches

SNAP IT UP - using different types of snap closures. Demo, hands-on and discussion.

NG – Happy Hoopers Embroidery Group

Purpose – To learn more about machine embroidery.  This is a discussion group only.  All aspects of machine embroidery are discussed and members show successful embroideries as well as those that did not turn out as expected.  Members try to help each other with problems they encounter with embroidery projects.  Everyone is welcome regardless of level of expertise or brand of embroidery machine.

Join us October 3, 2023, 1-3 pm at the Hen House for an Autumn and Halloween showcase.  Bring your stitched-out Autumn, Thanksgiving, or Halloween embroidery designs to share with members.  We will be talking about design sources and materials used to create these celebrations of Autumn, Thanksgiving, and Halloween.  Projects do not need to be finished, just the embroidery.
